Thanks to the use of the latest state-of-the-art components, the electronics can
be accomodated in an extremely compact and lightweight aluminium housing.
Status LEDs indicate the operating status of the individual measurement
channels. An additional LED indicates activity on the CAN bus.
The extra-wide analog input range is +/-20V and covers all standard voltages in
a vehicle with a board supply of 13.8 V.
Power Input Range of xproAnalog8 is 10 … 32 VDC, so it can be connected
directly to the 28 Volt power system of commercial vehicles without the need
for an additional voltage converter.

A non-multiplexed solution based on 24-bit sigma-delta converters for each
channel can resolve input channels with as low as 40µV. Noise-free results are
typically less than 1mV over the full +/-20 Volts input range.
All inputs are of the “differential” type, which reduces the effects of ground
loops.
Each input socket provides a stabilised supply of 5V and 12V to the individual
sensors. Therefore an additional external power supply for the sensors is not
required. A current of 10 mA can be drawn from each sensor.
To increase the number of input channels in a more complex system up to 8
modules can be chained. This will allow up to 64 channels to be transmitted
via a single CAN interface.
All individual channels can be sampled at a fixed data rate of 100 Hz.
